Another fabulous necklace. A girl really can't have enough! I love this piece because it is different. A classic necklace but with a twist at the bottom. With an antique finish and a belt buckle as a charm, this necklace really is something look at! Find it Here. for $16.50.

#4 Coral Ring by lacravatteduchien

I live in Florida so I'm defiantly a sucker for anything ocean related, but this ring is so interesting. What a wonderful idea to put a piece of coral onto a ring! I think it eludes a kind of whimsical personality. I just love it and it's only $14.00! Find it Here.

Reality Check

Hello everyone. This morning I had a total reality check. I was feeling sorry for myself much more than I should and letting it bring me down. Instead of stepping away and deciding to be happy, I was letting myself be content on being upset. When I arrived at work I was talking with a friend in the parking lot and we both heard a big boom! We went over to the side of the street to see what it was and saw a motorcycle with the front smashed in and a man in the median holding his arm. Thank God he was okay for the most part, but it showed me that we shouldn't take life for granted. It's so easy to slip into the mindset of being upset or angry. It's harder to overcome it and to get over ourselves. So I'm going to try and make an effort. A bigger one. To realize that wasting time being mad or upset over nothing is just plain stupid and that God's plans for us are bigger than anything else.

As for JLynel, I'm still working on some amazing designs so be ready for new listings soon. Currently in the shop there is a wide selection of items including fall and christmas items. So take a look if your curious at www.JLynel.etsy.com ;) . Here's a great $5 item that I think is so cute.

Have a wonderful day! xoxo J.Lynel

Believe in Yourself

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I've been so busy but I want to get back to it. Only two and a half more months left until my wedding. :) :). I'm so very very excited about it. Plans are coming together swimmingly and I hope this time flies by. School has been seeming to drag which is kind of peculiar since I do have a large schedule this semester but at least i'm not super stressed over it all.
Sales are picking up at J.Lynel and I'm happy to say I have some fun things in the works as we speak. I've been trying to schedule in time to create because I have lots of ideas swirling around in my head. I'll definitely update you when they become a reality. (Hopefully very soon!)
I just read an article about a couple who quit their day job and support their family with etsy. It's so inspiring to me when people do this and I love to read their stories. The one thing she mentioned that jumped out at me was to believe in yourself. I think this simple statement is so encouraging because sometimes it's hard to be confident but it really pays off.
I was in the bank wearing one of my new headband designs this weekend and one of the women there commented on how much she liked it. So instead of being shy I stepped out and told her I made it and that I sell online! She and one of her friends both ended up taking my card.
I'm so glad I have the opportunity to share with people things that I love and I'm so blessed to have a God standing behind me pushing me along and encouraging me to believe in myself. Love you all!

xoxo J.Lynel

P.S. I want to get to know new etsy people and chat about etsy things so feel free to chat it up :)

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells

Jingle all the way! I love this darling little vintage Sleigh Pin. It has a rich brass color with hand-painted detailing. The spring c clasp on the back dates it to the 1930's. A great addition to any collection. Find it Here and keep on the look out for more marvelous holiday items coming soon!
